This simple oven baked broccoli recipe is made with some cheddar cheese coating and comes out really cheesy, tasty and crispy. Enjoy as a snack, side dish or appetizer. Get your kids eating more broccoli and veggies by dressing them up a bit and making it more interesting. Broccoli may not be everyone’s favorite vegetable, not just kids, but how you prepare it will make a huge difference in the taste. I love this so much and I mostly enjoy it alongside some Honey mustard grilled chicken or this cilantro lime grilled salmon.

My Pro Tip
Recipe Tip
- I recommend using fresh broccoli and not frozen. The texture and consistency will vary. Also, try not to over cook the broccoli.
Frequently Asked Questions
Broccoli holds a lot of water. You may have used frozen broccoli or the broccoli still had a lot of water when you washed it. Try using fresh broccoli if possible and pat the broccoli dry really well with a paper towel
I highly recommend using fresh broccoli for best results. Using frozen broccoli will not yield the same freshness and crunchiness.
Soaking raw broccoli in a mixture of water and vinegar will help kill most of the germs that will be in the broccoli and help remove and bugs and debris.
