What are the benefits of eating Jalapenos

Jalapenos are a good source of fiber, vitamin C and Vitamin B6. They are also low in calories and a great choice to use when planning to make appetizers like jalapeno poppers. They make a great treat. Also, Jalapenos have a chemical compound in them called capsaicin which is what makes peppers spicy and hot. This chemical also aids in weight loss by boosting your metabolism, has anti-cancer properties, and can help prevent ulcers.

Why are my jalapenos not hot

As mentioned above, the chemical in the jalapeno that gives it heat is called capsaicin. If your jalapenos are not hot enough then that would be because it was picked too early and didn’t mature enough to get that right amount of capsaicin to build up.

They can be wrapped with bacon, stuffed with chicken, or can be just as simply baked jalapeno poppers. To make these jalapeno poppers, cut each down the middle to make two halves, scoop out the seeds, stuff with the cream cheese mixture, dip onto either bread crumbs or almond meal, then pop in the oven.
