Cooked shrimp–Peeled and cooked shrimp is what you will need for this cocktail recipe. You can buy pre-cooked shrimp from the grocery store or lightly poach your own shrimp at home.
Red onion– Minced red onion provides layers of deliciously fresh flavors in this shrimp recipe.
Tomatoes–Juicy red tomatoes are a must for this shrimp cocktail. Make sure you pick ripe tomatoes because they are more flavorful.
Avocado–Soft cubes of avocado are dispersed throughout the cocktail and give it extra texture and smooth flavors.

How to Make Shrimp Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Cooked and peeled shrimp
  • ¼ cup Minced red onion
  • ½ cup Tomatoes, Seeded and diced
  • 1 Avocado, peeled, seeded and diced
  • ¼ cup Minced cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons Lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a bowl and stir gently until combined. (1 pound Cooked and peeled shrimp, ¼ cup Minced red onion, ½ cup Tomatoes, 1 Avocado, ¼ cup Minced cilantro, 2 tablespoons Lime juice, 1 tablespoon Olive Oil, and salt and pepper to taste).
  • Spoon into glasses and serve immediately, or store covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 hours.
