Mango Salsa is one of my favorite salsas to serve as an appetizer with some tortilla chips, or over grilled chicken, and in tacos. It is so simple to make with just about 10-15 minutes of prep time.

Mango Salsa for the win!

Salsas are so refreshing, especially during the summertime. I enjoy them all year round whenever I am making tacos for my kids, and I also love adding them over grilled meats like this honey mustard grilled chicken and these grilled steaks.

Tips from my kitchen

  • Do not use mangos that are too ripe or mushy.
  • Use firm and ripe avocados, not too green or too ripe. Get them to feel just right to the touch.
  • If you do not like cilantro, you can swap it with parsley.
  • Purple onions can be swapped with white sweet onions.

Common Questions

How to store leftovers?

You can store leftovers in a container in the fridge for up to 3 days. I do not recommend freezing.

What Can i use instead of mangos?

You can swap the mango with peaches, pineapple, or strawberries.

What can i use instead of poblano peppers?

You can also use jalapenos instead of poblano peppers. If you want to reduce the amount of heat, remove the veins and seeds.
