Have you heard of the viral edible cottage cheese cookie dough? I had to make it, and it was so good! It is made with cottage cheese as the main ingredient. Loaded with protein, and makes for a great snack or dessert.
Another edible cookie dough that is made without cottage cheese is my healthy edible cookie dough recipe.

Recipe Overview
I am always hesitant to try out viral TikTok recipes. I have tried quite a few of them, and they were complete failures. But this cottage cheese edible cookie dough recipe was surprisingly good. Sound revolting, right? But I promise it’s good! 😍 My kids rated it a 10/10. They had it with some crackers.
What I think 🧐
So, I am more of a salt girl and prefer savory things over sweet things. But I did like this cookie dough, primarily made with cottage cheese, and so you can guess it is going to be a high-protein treat. The kids had them with graham crackers. It takes about 5 minutes to get your ingredients ready and another 5 minutes to put it together. Easy peasy.

Tips from my kitchen
Recipe Tips
- Depending on how much you blend the cottage cheese, I have noticed that you may need to add another 1/4 cup of almond flour or protein powder if the consistency of the dough is a bit too mushy.
- You can store it in the fridge for a bit to set before serving.
- I do not recommend freezing, but it stores well in the fridge for up to 5 days.

If your cookie dough is too runny, add 1-2 tablespoons of whatever flour you are using at a time and mix until you get the consistency you are looking for.
If your cookie dough is too runny, then you added too much liquid or in this case, too much cottage cheese and not enough flour. Just add in more flour and mix again.
You can either add in more flour or cover it and let it sit in the fridge for 30-45 minutes to settle in and absorb all the excess liquid.

Amazing! So glad you loved it.
Why not mix everything but the chocolate chips in the blender?
You don’t want to over-process it, especially with the almond flour.
It was so delicious!!
