I was very hesitant to make this TikTok viral 2-ingredient cottage cheese wrap. You can totally call this a cottage flatbread too! Just the idea of blending cottage cheese and eggs didn’t sit well with me 😂 But I had to give it a try and let me tell you, I was impressed, to say the least.

It is tasty and rolls perfectly like your normal wraps will. They are made with just eggs and cottage cheese but I decided to add in some seasonings. I decided to go with onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.

These two ingredient-recipes blow my mind! Like my 2 ingredient bagels recipe and another great cottage cheese recipe you will like is my cottage cheese bread. Savory and loaded with protein.

Highlight

My Pro Tip

Recipe Tip

  • Do not forget the parchment paper!
  • Allow the cottage cheese wrap to cool completely before attempting to remove from parchment paper.
  • I didn’t need to spray my parchment paper, but if you feel better doing so, you can. This should prevent it from sticking but it is not needed.
  • Use any seasonings you like.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I store cottage cheese wraps?

You can simply wrap them up in a plastic wrap or place them in a ziplock bag and store them in the fridge for 2-3 days. I do recommend that you store them without any of the wrap fillings.

Can I freeze Cottage Cheese Wraps?

Yes. You can wrap them tightly with a freezer-safe wrap or bag and freeze for up to one month. When ready to serve, just let it thaw overnight in the fridge and reheat it in the microwave.

Can I use Egg whites to make cottage cheese wraps?

If you do not want to use whole eggs, you can use egg substitutes. I recommend you use ⅓ cup of egg whites instead of the 2 eggs.

This was pretty good. Mine was a bit salty. I may have added a pinch too much garlic and onion powder. I think it may not need them at all. I spread mine out thick enough so you couldnโ€™t see the parchment paper underneath. Definitely looked like a wrap. I just added spinach and shredded chicken. It held together pretty well but you can stuff it or it will fall apart. Will try again but want to try to reduce sodium.

  2. Didn’t work for me. Burnt all around edges, and used same settings. Would not wrap without falling apart; but tasted very good ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thanks! And I haven’t tried it with Greek yogurt, so I am not too sure, honestly. I would have to test it first and see if it would work.

  3. Hi,

I made this and followed the recipe but it came out all crumbly. How do I get the firm texture similar to a wrap?

First trying anything like this. I hate cottage cheese, seriously hate it. I’m not very fond of eggs either, but my husband wanted to try this. Super easy, and it is delicious!!! We put BBQ Pulled Pork on it, with shredded sharp cheddar and finely chopped iceberg lettuce, and it rolled up perfectly. Outstanding!!! We baked it for 35 minutes and it was golden brown on both sides. My only concern, it that it’s a bit of a Sodium Bomb. I wouldn’t have this weekly, just because of the sodium, but we’ll make it a couple times a month. Who knows, maybe I can find a reduced sodium cottage cheese, if there is such a thing. Thank you for the recipe!

    1. Amazing! I’m glad this worked for you! There is a lactose-free cottage cheese that I noticed isn’t salty. I am going to look at the label next time I buy it and test it out and see.

      1. Yes. It is under the frequently asked question. Just wrap it with plastic wrap and place it in the fridge for 2-3 days.
