Dough was way too sticky to form into any sort of ball! Batter tasted delicious, but i’m sad they never formed into anything more than mush. Even followed the comment about placing it into the fridge, but did not work out
Rena says
Hi Victoria. Could be the scoop of protein you used was smaller. If the dough was a bit mushy just add either more coconut flour or more protein to get it to the right consistency.
Joan says
Nothing about this recipe worked. I tried multiple things and it still came out awful. So sad because it was very excited about this and also wasted a ton of expensive protein.
Rena says
Sorry, this didn’t work. WE will test it again to be sure. We didn’t encounter any issues with this recipe.
Sara says
Hi there!
What kind of low calorie sweetener did you use…liquid, powdered, or granual?
Super excited to try this recipe!
Thank you,
Sara
Rena says
Hi. I mostly use Truvia or monk fruit sweetener
Melissa says
Hi! Can I use any type of oil or is coconut the best one ?
Rena says
Hi, You may use other oil. But the taste may vary.
Lindsay says
Ok what did I do wrong, they were not dough like at all, super gooey, I couldn’t roll into balls and they didn’t harden up at all. Should I have added more coconut flour??
Rena says
Hi Lindsey. That’s odd. I will retest this recipe to make sure. But adding either more coconut flour, almond flour or protein would have prevented that.
Christy says
I had the same problem but it was because I had to heat my coconut oil to liquify it. Once I mixed everything together, I put it in the fridge for about 10 minutes and it firmed up into a proper texture to roll into balls.
Heather says
What is the actual volume or weight measurement of the scoop of protein you used? My dough originally came out a little watery and I had to add pinches of more protein and flour until I got a more solid consistency.
Rena says
Heather, I would have to look and get back with you. I woild say closer to 1/4 cup. I will get you the exact volume.
Jami says
Look yummy! How many are in a serving?
Rena says
That would be one ball per serving
