Frequently Asked Questions
If using an outdoor grill, you want to keep the lid closed as much as possible when using the grill so that the meat evenly cooks. When cooking on a grill pan, cook on medium heat so you don’t overcook the chicken.
Heat the grill to at least 350 degrees Fahrenheit and up to 375°F when using an outdoor grill. Make sure the chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of at least 165°F. You may use a food thermometer to check this. If you don’t have any, depending on the thickness of the chicken, you will need 4-5 minutes on each side for the chicken to cook thoroughly.
It is encouraged to soak wooden skewers for as long as you need to. There is no limit to soaking the skewers. The purpose of soaking wood skewers is to prevent them from burning before the meat is cooked.
You don’t have to necessarily marinate chicken before you cook them, but if you want super tender and juicy chicken, then we highly recommend it!
