Frequently asked questions

How do you hollow out a strawberry?

First thoroughly wash the strawberries. Cut the tops off the strawberries, hold the strawberries upright and then using a pairing knife start to hollow each one. You may also use a fruit scooper as shown in an image above.

What kind of cheese is used for cheesecake?

To make cheesecake filling, the main ingredient is creamy cheese with a thick consistency. That being said, the top 3 cheeses that are usually used are cream cheese, ricotta cheese, or cottage cheese. Our favorite cheese to use for cheesecake filling is cream cheese.

Can I use soft cheese instead of cream cheese for cheesecake?

Yes. The next best soft cheese to use for making cheesecake filling would be mascarpone. Keep in mind that mascarpone is richer, thicker, and creamer but will still do the job.
