A zesty one-pan meal made by searing raw shrimp and chicken sausage with onions and bell peppers in cajun seasoning. Easy and ready in just 20 minutes!
1poundSmoked Cooked Chicken Sausage such as andouille
½poundShrimppeeled and deveined
¼CupChicken Broth
2teaspoonsLemon Juice
1tablespoonChopped Parsley
Instructions
Heat the 1 tablespoon Olive Oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
Add the ½ Cup Sliced Red Onion,1 Cup Sliced Red Bell Pepper, and 1 Cup Sliced Yellow Bell Pepper to the pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until tender. Add the 1 teaspoon Minced Garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Season the vegetables to taste with Salt and pepper to taste, then remove from the pan and keep warm.
Add the ½ pound Shrimp and 1 pound Smoked Cooked Chicken Sausage to the pan; sprinkle with 2 teaspoons Cajun Seasoning.
Cook until shrimp are pink and opaque and sausage is heated through 3-4 minutes. Stir in the ¼ Cup Chicken Broth and mix for another minute. Add the vegetables back to the pan. Mix to cook for another minute.
Add the 2 teaspoons Lemon Juice and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Top with 1 tablespoon Chopped Parsley and serve.

I recommend you use raw shrimp and not pre-cooked shrimp
