Instructions
Add the chicken to a large Ziploc bag together with the 3 tablespoons gluten-free flour, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, and Kosher salt and ground pepper.
Mix through the bag to evenly coat all the chicken pieces.
Heat the 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large frying pan, over medium-high heat. Add the 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast bites and cook on all sides until golden brown, for about 8-10 minutes in total. You may need to cook the chicken in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
Meanwhile, in a small jug add the 3 cloves garlic (minced), 1/4 cup honey, 3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce, 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar, and ½ tablespoon sriracha/hot chili sauce Mix well to combine.
Once the chicken is done cooking, pour over the garlic honey, and stir to completely coat; allow the sauce to simmer for a couple of minutes to meld all the flavors.
Garnish with fresh Chopped fresh parsley and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
Notes
any flour of choice can be used.
serving size is 1/4 of the chicken bites
honey can be substituted with maple syrup.
any other oil will work in place of olive oil. Try grapeseed oil or avocado oil
use fresh garlic if possible. garlic powder will work too but not as flavorful. use 1 tablespoon in place of the fresh garlic.
do not overcook the chicken or they will dry out and get rubbery.
store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days
