Thick, creamy high-protein Strawberry Cottage Cheese Smoothie with low-fat cottage cheese, vanilla almond milk, frozen strawberries, banana, and just a touch of honey.
In a high-powered blender, add all the ingredients for the smoothie (1 cup low-fat cottage cheese, 1½ cups Vanilla Almond Milk , 2 cups frozen strawberries , 1 Ripe banana, and 2 tablespoons honey )
Blend everything together until it's smooth.
Pour the strawberry smoothie into serving glasses.
Top with Whipped cream, fresh Chopped strawberries, or Sprinkle of Chia seeds, and serve.
Notes
Use frozen fruit for the thickest, coldest texture. No need to add extra ice.
Blend on high speed and scrape down the sides as needed to get it perfectly smooth.
Taste and adjust sweetness depending on how ripe your banana is. Sometimes less honey is more.
Storage:
Store leftovers in an airtight container or jar in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
Shake or stir well before drinking since it may separate or thicken slightly.
For longer storage, freeze in ice cube trays or portions for up to 1 month. Thaw in the fridge overnight or re-blend with a splash of milk.
