Ingredients

frozen mango chunks
¾
cup
Plain Greek yogurt
or vanilla

cup
unsweetened almond milk
or milk of choice

tablespoons
chia seeds
plus topping
2
tablespoons
honey
or maple syrup, optional
1
teaspoon
vanilla extract
½
cup
ice
optional, for a thicker smoothie
Instructions
Add the
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
,
¾ cup Plain Greek yogurt
,
2 cups frozen mango chunks
,
2 tablespoons chia seeds
,
2 tablespoons honey
, and
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
to a blender.
Blend until smooth and creamy. Add
½ cup ice
if desired, and blend again until thick and chilled.
Let the smoothie sit for 3 to 5 minutes before drinking to allow the chia seeds to soften slightly, or enjoy immediately.

Serving Size:
About 1½ cups
Add the milk to the blender first to help everything blend smoothly.
Frozen mango gives the smoothie the best thick and creamy texture.
Fresh mango can be used, but add ice to help thicken and chill the smoothie.
There's no need to soak the chia seeds before blending.
Taste before adding honey or maple syrup since the mango may already be sweet enough.
Plain or vanilla Greek yogurt will work.
Any milk of choice can be used.
