How To Make Homemade Applesauce

Instructions
Wash and peel the apples. Next, core the apples and cut them into smaller chunks.
In a pot or saucepan, add about 2 tablespoons of water just to cover the bottom of the pot, then add the chopped apples into the pot.
If adding a touch of cinnamon, go ahead and sprinkle cinnamon over the apples at this point.
Cover the pot and cook covered until soft, stir occasionally for about 15-20 minutes.
Once the apples are tender, puree them using a blender, immersion blender, or food processor.
Allow the apple sauce to cool, and place them in a storage jar.

Store the applesauce in the refrigerator
for up to two weeks.
Put the recipe in a freezer-safe bag, flatten the apple sauce, then
freeze it in the freezer
for up to two months.
Instead of cinnamon,
you can use allspice, nutmeg, etc.
Cook the apples in a slow cooker
if you can't tend to them on the stovetop. You will need to cook it in the slow cooker for about four hours.
