This homemade Celery Juice is light, refreshing and bright with green apple for balancing sweetness and a hint of tart lime. It's quick to whip up as a thirst-quenching drink, packed with nutrients to start your day off well.
Prep the celery: Trim the top and bottom end of the 2 bunches celery. Thoroughly wash the celery to remove all soil and debris. Scrub each one under running water with your fingers.
Juicer: Run the 2 bunches celery (cleaned, chopped), 1 lime (chopped, skin on or off), and 1 green apple (cored, chopped) through the feeding tube of the juicer. You do not need water if using a juicer. Serve immediately, or place in a jar in the fridge to cool and serve.
Blender: to a high-powered blender, add 2 bunches celery (cleaned, chopped), 1 lime (chopped, skin off), 1 green apple (cored, chopped) and ½ cup water (to help it blend smoothly). Let it blend thoroughly for 2-3 minutes. Pour the liquid through a nut milk bag or mesh strainer to remove all the pulp. Serve immediately or store in the lidded jar or container and use within 3 days.
Notes
Storage:
