Perfect for lunch or dinner, these Grilled Chicken Wraps are a flavor bomb! Loaded with fresh, healthy ingredients like chicken, tomatoes, and black beans, everything gets smothered in a Tex-Mex mayo and then wrapped up. Use freshly grilled chicken or leftover meats from a cookout!
Cut the grilled chicken into strips and divide among your 4 tortillas.
Top with tomatoes, beans, cheese, and cilantro.
In a small bowl, whisk the mayonnaise and seasoning.
Drizzle the taco mayonnaise over the tortilla fillings.
Wrap each tortilla tightly.
(The following step is optional but I totally recommend it!)
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil. Place the wrapped tortillas into the
preheated skillet and cook over medium heat, until golden and the cheese has
melted, around 2-3 minutes per side.
Notes
Don't overstuff: Overstuffing the tortillas may cause the wraps to rip. Sometimes less is more!
Switch up the meat: Add grilled, turkey breast, shrimp, salmon, or steak instead of chicken.
Add extra veggies: Bell peppers, sautéed onion slices, and sautéed zucchini would all be delicious additions to this recipe.
Use up leftovers: This is a great way to use up leftover grilled chicken from a cookout.
Store the fillings separately from the wraps in an airtight container for up to three days. The wraps may get soggy if they are stored with the filling.
