This recipe for oven-roasted Garlic Mushrooms is ready in about 30 minutes and is filled with the best tender and earthy flavors. Baked mushrooms and crispy garlic are fused together and tossed with fresh herbs, olive oil, salt, and pepper for the easiest gluten-free side dish that is made on a sheet pan!
In a large bowl, add all the ingredients and mix to combine (1 pound Button Mushrooms, 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil, 6-8 Garlic Cloves, and a pinch of salt and pepper). You can mince 2 of the garlic cloves and add them to the mixture, and leave the others whole.
Place them on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast for about 20 minutes, mixing halfway through.
Garnish with Fresh chopped thyme to taste and enjoy!
Notes
Instead of olive oil, you can use avocado or grapeseed oil.
Top these mushrooms with parmesan cheese for extra savoriness.
Dip the mushrooms into your favorite dipping sauces.
Store the leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to four days. Reheat the mushrooms in the microwave or oven.
Instead of roasting the garlic whole, you can mince the garlic and toss it with the mushrooms.
For garlic-roasted mushrooms and onions, add red, yellow, or white onions to the sheet pan to bake.
Make garlic butter mushrooms by using melted butter in place of the oil.
