Easy Air Fryer Salmon Bites are coated in seasoned panko breadcrumbs and air-fried to perfection! They're crispy on the outside and tender in the center, cooked in less than 10 minutes. Serve with our simple homemade sweet and spicy sauce for a delicious appetizer or main course!
1 1/2poundsalmon filetskin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
1teaspoonKosher salt
1/4teaspoonfine ground pepper
2tablespoonsolive oil
3/4cuppanko breadcrumbs
2teaspoonsItalian seasoning
1teaspoongarlic powder
1teaspoononion powder
1/4cuphoney
2tablespoonshot sauce
1tablespoonlow sodium soy sauce
Instructions
In a large bowl sprinkle the 1 1/2 pound salmon filet cubes with 1 teaspoon Kosher salt, 1/4 teaspoon fine ground pepper, and 2 tablespoons olive oil, stir well to combine and coat each piece.
On a shallow plate, combine the 3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs with 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, and a dash or salt and pepper.
Dip the salmon in the panko mixture then place it on a sheet pan.
Preheat the air fryer to 375ºF.
Place the breaded salmon into the air fryer, arranging the pieces in a single layer without overlapping. Air fry for 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine the 1/4 cup honey, 2 tablespoons hot sauce, and 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce.
Once the salmon is done cooking, drizzle with the sauce and shake.

Notes
Refrigerate any leftover salmon bites in an airtight container for up to about 3 days. Reheat the leftovers in the air fryer at 350°F for about 3 minutes, shaking halfway.
Use avocado oil in place of olive oil if you like
They can be baked instead at 400F for 18-20 minutes.
