Trim the ends of the 1.5 pound fresh green beans and place them in a sheet pan or a very large bowl.
Drizzle with the 1 tablespoon olive oil and add the seasonings (Kosher salt and pepper, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon dried basil). Use your hands to toss very well until all pieces are coated.
Preheat the air fryer to 400F. Air fry the green beans in 2 batches, for 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway.
Serve with Shaved parmesan cheese or lemon wedges, if desired.
Notes
You may add any seasoning of your choice in addition to the garlic powder
Try swapping olive oil with avocado oil
Frozen green beans can be used, but fresh green beans are preferred.
