Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 medium orange
  • tsp salt optional

Instructions

Method 1

  • Start by cutting the top and bottom of the orange with the knife, then slice off the skin on all sides of the orange.
  • Next, slowly cut through the flesh of the orange making sure to scoop each orange slice out of the fruit. Cut around the membrane of the orange with the knife.

Method 2

  • Follow the first three steps from above making sure to slice the skin off the orange with the knife.
  • Once all the skin has been removed, place the orange on its side, then slice through the orange from top to bottom making a circular ring.
  • Now, you're ready to serve your orange slices or rings without the skin! The slices are super juicy and delicious so it will be hard to not eat them in one sitting!

Notes

  • Be sure to use a sharp knife to cut the skin off the orange.
  • You'll want your knife sharp so you can easily cut out each orange wedge, too.
  • Store any leftovers in the refrigerator.
  • Note: This is optional, if your orange is a bit on the sour side, you can sprinkle a bit of salt over it. So good!
