Low Carb Turkey Burgers with Zoodles

Easy to make burger recipe made with lean ground turkey and served with zoodles instead of buns for a low carb option.

Ingredients

  • lb Lean Ground Turkey
  • 4 Garlic Cloves minced and divided
  • ½ Tbsp Italian Seasoning
  • ½ Tbsp Smoked Paprika
  • Salt and fresh cracked pepper
  • ¼ Cup Chopped Fresh Parsley divided
  • 4 Medium Zucchini spiralized
  • 4 Cheese Slices
  • 4 Tomato Slices
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil divided
  • 1 Tbsp Hot sauce

Instructions

  • To a mixing bowl add ground meat, half of the garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix by hand until all the ingredients are well combined. Divide the turkey mixture into 4 even portions and form into round patties.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  • Set aside on a plate to rest. In the same heated skillet add in the remaining oil and garlic.
  • Stir in the zucchini noodles and cook, tossing constantly for 1-2 minutes. Divide the zoodles among 4 glass containers, then add the turkey burger and top it with hot sauce, cheese, and tomato.
  • Refrigerate for up to 3 days. Enjoy!
