2 pounds chicken wings 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 teaspoon Kosher salt 1 ½ tablespoons cornstarch ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper 1 teaspoon smoked paprika 1 teaspoon garlic powder Honey Garlic Sauce ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce ½ cup honey or maple syrup ½ cup tomato paste 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seed oil 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Preheat the oven to 400 F and line a large baking tray with parchment paper. In a small bowl combine all the seasonings.
Add the chicken wings to the prepared baking tray and drizzle with the oil. Sprinkle with the seasoning mix, then mix very well to coat.
Bake for 30 minutes flipping halfway.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine all the Honey garlic sauce ingredients.
Once the chicken wings are done, drizzle with the sauce and stir to combine
Return to the oven and bake for 10 more minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
The cornstarch makes the wings extra crispy and helps the seasoning stick to the wings.
You can use maple syrup in place of the honey.
Store the leftover wings in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days.
Serve the wings with your favorite sauces like blue cheese or ranch dressing.
Enjoy these baked chicken wings with celery, fries, carrots, etc.
