Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz brie or camembert wheel
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate arils from 1 small pomegranate
  • 2 tbsp chopped pecans
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
  • 2 tbsp honey for drizzling
  • Flaky sea salt optional
  • Toasted baguette or crackers optional, for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and get a dish that can fit the cheese wheel.
  • Place the cheese onto it and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until gooey in the middle.
  • Once the cheese is done, sprinkle with pomegranate, pecans and add a drizzle of honey.
  • Garnish with fresh rosemary for a holiday feeling.
  • Sprinkle with flaky salt and serve it with crackers if desired.

Notes

  • Brie: If you can't find brie cheese, you can substitute with camembert. Brie has a milder taste while camembert has a slightly deeper, more earthy taste.
  • Pomegranate: You can also use cranberry sauce.
  • Pecans: You can substitute with chopped walnuts or pistachios instead.
  • Rosemary: Rosemary has a strong flavor, so you don't need much. You can also use fresh thyme.
  • Bake the cheese straight from the fridge so that it softens instead of melting completely.
  • Serve straight from the oven for best results.
  • Storage: Store by wrapping the baking dish tightly in foil. Store in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.
