how to make these spicy watermelon sticks
- Cut the watermelon: Use a large sharp knife to slice the watermelon lengthwise or into big slices. Then, trim off the edges. Finally cut the meat of the watermelon (the red part) lengthwise, cutting more on the thin size, so they like watermelon fries.
- Garnish: Dust with some chili powder (depending on the level of heat you want), garnish with lime wedges. Enjoy!
Take one of the watermelon slices one at a time and place on a cutting board to start trimming off the edges.

If you want to prep ahead of time, you can cut up the watermelon a few days in advance, but the season just before serving.
When storing the watermelon sticks, wrap in the plastic, and they should keep in the fridge for about 3 days. Also, the plastic will stop the watermelon from absorbing the flavors of other foods and will keep its flesh moist.
