Easy Watermelon Fries Recipe
This watermelon fries recipe is going to be the simplest recipe you will ever make. You simply cut up the watermelons into fries, sprinkle some lime over them and if you are using chili powder you sprinkle or garnish with chili powder. That’s it! They will definitely grab your guests attention. My kids were amazed by the idea. Chili was not added to this recipe because the kids are always excited to eat everything I am photographing so I decided not to add chili. I did add on my serving though!
How to cut these Watermelon Fries
Wash the watermelon and place on a flat surface. Use a large sharp knife to slice lengthwise. You could also cut it in half and flip it over with cut side down and then cut or slice them lengthwise about 1 inch thick.
Take one of the watermelon slices one at a time and place on a cutting board to start trimming off the edges.
Toss the edges of the watermelon and then cut them lengthwise again and keep them more on the thin size to what you think watermelon fries should look like. This will be a personal preference for the size of the fries.
Place on a plate for serving with some lime wedges to sprinkle over the fries and for garnishing.

- 1 Medium Watermelon Cut into small fries
- 1 Lime Cut into wedges
- Chilli Powder optional
- Cut the watermelon into slices and trim into fries
